Survivors Call out Pope Francis over the discovery of 215 Indigenous residential school children buried without dignity.

As a founding member of ECA and a survivor of the notorious St. Anne’s residential school in Canada. Evelyn Korkmaz is calling for an official apology by His Holiness, Pope Francis for the Roman Catholic Church’s role in the genocide of our people, culture, traditions, language and spirituality. Also, to take ownership and responsibility for its role in the recently discovered burial site on the Kamloops Indian Residential School grounds, which is proof of the horrific actions we witnessed as children. How many more burial sites will we find on these residential school sites?
