There are a number of resources and organizations which can provide much needed help for survivors to heal and advocates to mobilize to seek justice to end clergy abuse. We have provided a few which might be helpful:

CHILE


Para la Confianza: Foundation Trust is a nonprofit organization whose mission it is to combat child sexual abuse. It was created by the surgeon James Hamilton, journalist Juan Carlos Cruz, attorney Juan Pablo Hermosilla and José Andrés Murillo as a way of dealing with sexual abuse cases that occur in contexts of trust.

La Parole Liberee is an organization created to support the victims of the pedophile acts that took place within the Group Saint Luc from 1970 to 1991.

GERMANY


Eckiger Tisch: The Initiative ECKIGER TISCH is an organization of victims of sexual violence who were abused at Jesuit institutions in Germany. The ELEGANT TABLE was formed in the spring of 2010 and are calling for education, help and adequate financial compensation.

A Charity in the United Kingdom offering support to adult survivors of all types of childhood abuse, including physical, sexual, emotional abuse or neglect.

SWITZERLAND

L’Association du Groupe SAPEC, soutien aux personnes abusées dans une relation d’autorité religieuse (support for abused persons in a relationship of religious authority), founded in French-speaking Switzerland in 2010, is an organization created to support the victims of the pedophile acts.

It has signed an agreement with a few bishops and superiors of catholic congregations to constitute an original independent commission, the CECAR for Commission d’Écoute, de Conciliation, d’Arbitrage et de Réparation (Listening, Conciliation, Arbitration and Reparation Commission) which is operating now for one year and is in a process of confirming its total independence.
